Introduction
Nomok is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This privacy policy describes the types of data collected, how it is used, and the measures taken to protect it.
Data Collected
Searches
Searched names are not linked to any identity. Results are kept in memory for at most 10 minutes to speed up identical searches. Aggregated counters (number of searches per name and per day, not linked to any visitor) are kept for 70 days for internal statistics. No account, IP address or personal history is kept.
Audience measurement
We measure audience without cookies or third-party tools: each page view increments aggregated counters (page, language, device type, referring site). To count unique visitors per day, a fingerprint is computed from the IP address and browser with a random key renewed every day; it stays in memory and is never stored. Clicks on partner links are counted the same way. We also consult aggregated Google Search Console statistics.
Partner links
Some links (domain registration, company, website or logo creation) lead to partners with whom we have an affiliate agreement: we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click, you leave Nomok; the partner may then set its own tracking cookies on its website, according to its privacy policy.
Cookies and advertising
The website is funded by Google AdSense advertising. Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads, and to personalise them if you consent. Your consent is collected by the Google consent management platform (IAB TCF certified) and can be changed at any time via the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of the page.
